About Our Farm We are a family farm. Our children, Sarah, 9, and Cooper, 5, enjoy helping us on the farm. We currently manage approximately 30 acres of farm land in Tiverton and Little Compton, RI. Some of the crops we grow include sweet corn, tomatoes, green and yellow squash, leaf lettuce, raspberries, and pumpkins, among many others. Although we are not currently certified organic, we use organic growing methods. We also practice sustainable agriculture, including soil conservation, crop rotation, and biodegradable weed control. We are proud to provide the community with fresh, local produce. In addition to participating in several local farmers markets including the Sakonnet Growers Market in Tiverton, we also market our produce at our own Mello's Farm Stand on Boyd's Lane in Portsmouth (just off Rte. 24). We are in our 27th year of business at the farm stand. We have been providing produce to Brown University Dining for the past seven years, in conjunction with their efforts to serve local food to their students. We also wholesale our fruit and vegetables to Whole Foods Market and East Side Marketplace in Providence. We are in the second year of our CSA, featured below. You can learn more about us at our website, address listed on this page.

About our CSA

This is the second season for our CSA. We are expanding the number of weeks for our CSA, although our price per week remains the same. We have also added an option to contribute towards a share for a local soup kitchen or food pantry. As part of our Community Supported Agriculture option (CSA), you may purchase a share of our farm's harvest in the spring. You can learn more about, and sign up for, our CSA on our website, address listed on this page.
