Renewed Roots Initiative

Renewed Roots Initiative is a community vegetable farm ran by a community board. We offer a continuum of services to connect community members with healthy food. We host youth and adult education programs, conservation initiatives focused on waste reduction, and provide a CSA with sponsorships for families in need.

RRi works with other local non-profits so that every time a CSA or produce is purchased at market food shares are provided for pre-designated families in need for free.

RRI is devoted to a sustainable, environmentally-friendly approach to growing vegetables. We make a point to choose non-GMO organic heirloom seeds, and grow them on land that is unaffected by chemical fertilizers and harmful pesticides. Wholesome produce starts with wholesome farming.

To support our farm we grow a variety of vegetables that we offer in a full/half season CSA and grow to sell at the Aurora, IL farmer's markets. All CSA can be purchased through our website.
