Join us as we celebrate our 10th year as a CSA! Become part of a community of families who know their farmer, and know how and where their food is grown. At Green Earth Farm we provide healthy, delicious, organically grown produce and honey for our CSA members and for the community. Many of you want the benefits of a CSA: local farm, fresh picked daily, and organically grown...but vacation plans, kids summer activities and other time constraints make a CSA not right for you. Now you can still buy your organic produce - when the timing is right for you - from a local farmer. The farm stand is here at the farm, near the road, so you can drive up, select your produce, weigh it, pay for it and be on your way. We farm using traditional sustainability practices. We plant over 100 different varieties of vegetables and herbs to create the ultimate tasty medley of produce for the season. Our seeds are heirloom varieties (the kind your grandparents grew), and all are certified organic. Education is a key element in being a CSA member. From our weekly e-newsletters to local presentations, we want to educate our community on the importance of supporting local farmers - not only for the health (and taste) benefits to consumers, but for the survival of an American tradition that is in danger of becoming extinct at the hands of the huge agri-corps. It's time to get back to our agricultural roots!
