The Oxford Farmers Market is designed to serve the community by providing a wide variety of high quality, local products at reasonable prices, nutritional information, and growing in an atmosphere conducive to the exchange of ideas and information between the customer and the producer. At the same time, it grants consumers an opportunity to visit our downtown merchants, thus making the market a more vibrant and integral part of the community. All vendors live within a 50 mile radius of Oxford. Everything we sell is either homegrown or homemade by the vendor. Our market is well rounded due to having fresh produce, fruit, free range eggs, baked goods, crafts, plants, honey, and seasonal items throughout the year. Our goal is to provide the very best items in each category. Our market has a rich heritage of being in operation since 1962. We pride ourselves on carrying items that are embedded in childhood memories of Grandma's house. We carry handmade items such as aprons, cell phone holders, pillows, table and kitchen accessories, jewelry and almost anything imaginable. We also have a resident poet that creates customized poems for any occasion. Our opening day for 2026 will be May 2, and run through the first Saturday in November, depending on the crops. Saturday hours are 7am until 12 noon. Whether you're looking for eggs, stringbeans, spring onions, honey, apples, fresh baked pies, jewelry, an apron, dish cloth, or Bible carrier, you'll find it in the appropriate season at the Oxford Farmers Market. We are located just off Interstate 85 at Exit 206 (Highway 158) in Oxford. As you enter downtown Oxford, look for the sign at the CVS store. Turn right beside the store onto Lanier Street. Go one block, and we are located on the left across from the Oxford Police Station. For weekly information, join our email list. Also, follow and like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/OxfordMarket. We look forward to your visit this season.
