Here we are about flavor not the latest and greatest, however we do not grow heirlooms due the variety of crops that we grow. We have used organic products for many years. We try to use "best management practices" here on the farm. We also use cover crops such as hairy vetch and an annual rye to build soils and suppress weeds. We also apply a variety of microbes and enzymes twice a year. We have used foliar feeding/application since 1990 and see tremendous results. We also apply proteins made from plants that build the plants immune system. All of this pertains to the flavor and quality of what you eat. All of this raises the Brix level of the crop. Higher brix means healthier crops which is better for our bodies.
