Minka Farm is a young family farm using sustainable, earth-friendly practices to raise pastured, heritage breed chickens and ducks for eggs, pastured beef, vegetables and orchard fruit. As a family, we decided that a strong connection to the land and the example of a good work ethic are important for ourselves. We are constantly learning about how best to keep our soil healthy and our animals happy while we grow our products for ourselves and our customers. Our 3-acre orchard, which is now completely planted, has already begun to produce wonderful peaches, plums, apples, figs, persimmons, pears, asian pears, jujubees, blackberries, blueberries, pawpaws and grapes (table, muscadine and scuppernong).

Come out to the farm to buy locally! Farm stand hours are Sundays from 3pm - 5pm. Take the first left on Minka Farm Lane (formally King Asa Farm Rd) and head up to the barn. Call first as emergencies do happen - 919-304-4999.
Wholesale
Quarter, Half and Whole Steer discounts available. We can have your beef cut the way you want it with a little advance notice. Larger purchases of single cuts (>100 lbs) also receive discounted pricing.

Valentine's Special: For the month of February, our finest beef cuts are on special. Filet mignon is now $14.95/lb (reg $17.95/lb) and NY Strip is $12.95/lb (reg $14.95/lb) while supplies last. And, if you buy before Valentine's Day, we'll throw in fresh greens from the garden and all-purple sweet potatoes!
