Thornbury Farm CSA

Our 300 year-old family farm, located on the Brandywine Battlefield, is offering CSA memberships for the Winter CSA & 2015 growing season. Our long history in West Chester, Chester County, helps us provide great produce for our neighbors. For full memberships, pick-ups are once a week. We also sell some of our products at local farm markets. Each year we expand to fill the need for great local produce. This year we are growing new varieties of delicious sweet corn. We work with other farmers to trade and support our friends and bring in other products for the market and CSA.

Our colonial class room, is a great place to learn - Bread Making in a Bee Hive Oven Candle & Soap Making History of the Brandywine Stargazing Canning the Harvest Organic and Sustainable food Production

Internships on our farm and tours of the Brandywine Battlefield are also offered. Interns help to grow, market, produce, help with our classes and develop crop plans, learn the background of organics and work with Graduate from University of Delaware in Agriculture. Also Learn about our Pipe Organ we are building in our barn. Saving a wonderful instrument over 2,300 pipes!
