Misty Brook Farm

MISTY BROOK FARM offers organic raw cow's milk, beef, veal, pork, chicken, eggs, vegetables, and grains. The farm is Certified Organic by MOFGA. We are a traditional mixed farm located in Central Maine. Our crops are grown in a rotation, and our animals are rotationally grazed. Our dairy cows, beefers, and veal calves are 100% grass-fed. They graze from May through October and eat hay in the winter months. Pigs are used to clear land and are raised on soy-free organic grains, milk/whey, and vegetables. Poultry are fed soy-free organic grains and what they find free-ranging. Our garden is managed using draft horses instead of tractors! We grow a wide range of vegetables including winter storage vegetables. Give us a call to find out what is in season! Misty Brook Farm is unusual in that we are offering Whole Farm Free Choice CSA shares (Community Supported Agriculture), allowing members to source raw milk, meat, eggs, fruits, vegetables, herbs, grains, and more all from one farm.
