The Northwest Pennsylvania Growers Cooperative is a cooperative of farmers from Butler, Mercer, Lawrence, Crawford, and Venango counties dedicated to bringing you fresh, natural/organic, local produce every season of the year.
We are your local source for all-natural/organic produce, pasture-raised, heritage breed meats, honey, eggs, bath products, and much more. All our growers raise cattle, goats, and sheep exclusively on pasture and feed poultry, pigs, and rabbits non-GMO grains. Dairy products are from grass-fed cattle.
We serve customers in Allegheny, Butler, Crawford, Erie, Lawrence, Mercer and Venango Counties.
Our produce comes from eighteen small family farms in northwestern Pennsylvania that use organic growing practices. This means that they are organic in practice but don't have certification (an expensive process that makes food with the organic label unaffordable for many) so they can keep their prices low for us.
In addition to CSA shares, we offer a la carte purchasing from our webstore. A large variety of items is available including vegetables, fruit, and herbs, beef, pork, chevron, lamb, chicken, turkey, rabbit, honey, maple syrup, cheese, eggs, and natural body care products.
