Hazon CSA at the Kaplen JCC on the Palisades

Our Hazon CSA is partnered with Free Bird Farm in Palatine Bridge, NY. Deadline for registration is June 10, 2016. VEGETABLE SHARE (mandatory): Certified Organic, locally grown, seasonal vegetables from Free Bird Farm. Full share for 22 week - $520, half share for 22 weeks - $295 EGG SHARE (optional): Eggs are pasture-raised at Free Bird Farm (hens roam freely), but are not certified organic. Full Share (1 dozen/week) $95; Half Share (a half dozen/week) is $55. FRUIT SHARE(optional): Stone fruit comes from a local orchard that limits what and how much they spray on their trees as well as taking preventative measures such as IPM but it is not certified organic. Berries are not certified organic, but they come from two very small family operations that follow organic growing practices. $160 per share (22 weeks). NEW THIS YEAR! BUTTER SHARE (optional): bi-weekly (11 times) delivery of sweet cream butter that's slow-churned for a rich European-style result. Each delivery is an 8 ounce tub of butter. $55 for the season. Weekly distribution pick-up at the JCC on Tuesdays, from June through November (exact date to determined once the growing season has started) from 3:00-7:00pm (late pickup possible).
