The Newport Farmers' Market is operating every Friday, rain or shine, from June 1st to October 5th this year. We are the Lake Sunapee region's largest farmers' market, with over 50 vendors of vegetables, fruits, meats and eggs, plants, flowers, baked goods, ready-to-eat foods, and hand-made crafts created from natural products. Our vendors offer a wonderful mix of produce and prepared foods, from old favorites like dilly beans, tomatoes, zucchini relish and apple pie, to new favorites (tomatillos, cannoli, elk sausage and English muffin bread.) There is something for every taste at the Newport Farmers' Market, but it is not just about the food! We also have live entertainment every week from local bands and performers. And for our younger customers, the Richards Free Library's children's librarian joins us in the bandstand for Story Time each week at 4 pm. The Newport Farmers' Market is located in Historic Downtown Newport, on the largest Town Common in the state. The market runs from 3 pm to 6 pm, every Friday, rain or shine, June 1st through October 5th. There is plenty of parking, and some of our vendors accept credit cards, EBT cards and WIC coupons.
