We offer only local produce, grown in Lancaster County, on Philadelphia farms, & at Grumblethorpe itself. Come to stroll in the beautiful museum garden while enjoying a cup of homemade Ice Cream or Fruit Ice--we hand crank our own every week from local dairy and seasonal fruits. Take home pasture-raised sausage from Buckview Produce and Meats in Quarryville, PA, or pick out the season's first strawberries and asparagus. Every week there is something new! Proceeds benefit elementary school students from Germantown and beyond, who participate in the Grumblethorpe Elementary Education Program. Our opening day for 2009 is Memorial Day, May 23rd. From then on, we'll be open every Saturday (rain or shine and regardless of street construction!) from Memorial Day through Thanksgiving from 10:00 AM until 3PM. While you're at the farmstand, why not visit one of our amazing neighborhood thrift and antique shops located on the same block? Between Grumblethorpe's chickens in the garden and the great produce and shopping, you can spend a very pleasant afternoon here and take home some of the healthiest produce in Germantown! Stay posted for updates on new products and hours or email us at and receive weekly updates on what's fresh and seasonal.
