The Farmers' Market at Poplar Grove is held from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM each Wednesday April through the 3rd week of November, and on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving on the grounds of historic Poplar Grove Plantation. Featuring all local products such as seafood, goat cheese, farm-raised beef, in-season fresh vegetables and fruits, organic produce, NC wines and honey; plus landscape, bedding and herb plants and fresh cut flowers; as well as bakery and preserved foods. You'll find one-of-a-kind artisan crafts: jewelry, stained & mosaic glass, reclaimed wood and exotic wood crafts and more, all handmade. The second Wednesday of the month, the Pender County Master Gardeners are here to answer all your gardening questions. Come enjoy the open-air market on the front lawn of the plantation under the big shade trees with plenty of free parking. While you're there you can visit the farm animals, stroll the grounds, take a tour of the 1850 manor house or even take a walk down the Abbey Nature Preserve trails.

The friendly atmosphere is my main reason for supporting Poplar Grove. A diverse selection of very interesting vendors. Great veggies and fruits. Grillin' in the Grove is great.

This market has the nicest people and the most diversity of any market I have been to.
