We have 10 acres in vegetable production and the rest is in hay, grain, and pasture. We are beginning our 30th year of CSA and love it. We also do farmers market in LaGrande OR ,a indoor market at the Governance center in Mission, OR, and a farmstand on Campbell St. in Baker City open 5 days a week .
We use organic practices but are not certified. We irrigate with spring water thru a drip tape system and use a 3 year rotation so our soil stays nourished
Our flock of 200 free range hens includes Barred Rock, Novagen, Sexlinks. They furnish us with awesome brown eggs with dark orange yolks, and they help keep the grasshoppers and bugs down. We feed only GMO-free grains which we feel is a huge difference. Our hens even like it better.
