The 2018 Hartwell Farmers Market Season:
start: 3rd Saturday in April
end: 1st Saturday in December
Featuring fresh fruit & veggies, live plants, herbs, cut flowers, honey, jams, jellies & preserves, fresh baked breads, pies, & cookies and locally hand-crafted items
The rule is - everything has to be either grown or made by the vendor. Any other thing must be properly labeled (Bryson Farms apples) and MUST be grown/made in the immediate 5-county area. Outlying counties will be considered.
Location: 8 Benson Street - Hartwell Sun parking lot
Saturday Hours: 7:00 AM - Noon
Tuesday: Hours: Noon - 4pm

It is local and I am so happy to have fresh local food. Thank you Hart, Franklin, and all the other counties near by that bring us fresh wholesome healthy vegetables, fruits, nuts and eggs.
I love that every thing is grown localy and the merchants are friendly and helpful.
All the people are local and some are master gardeners... The produce is fresh and there are some really nice flowers...This year should be good for them since were getting good rain.....

Directions:
Find McDonald's (Hwy 29), turn in front of the City Hall, look to your right and when you see the Laundromat, that street is Benson. Short street. We are in the Hartwell Sun (newspaper) parking lot on Saturday mornings and Tuesday noon until 4pm. Season runs from 3rd week in April until the 1st weekend in December.
