Emily's Produce

Emily's Produce is a local family owned and operated farm and farm market and u-pick operation on Md. Rt. 16 (Church Creek Rd) five miles from the Hyatt Chesapeake Bay Resort in Dorchester County Maryland. Emily's Produce opens on April 22nd with u-pick strawberries and a beautiful selection of flowers to include hanging baskets, perennials, annuals, and planters that are created and grown in greenhouses on the farm. Along with locally grown fruits and vegetables, you will find all natural meats that are grass fed on the farm. Other u-pick opportunities at Emily's Produce include blackberries, blueberries, cherries, pumpkins, gourds, and u-cut flowers. Each week, Emily's Produce offers a free recipe of the week to each customer and delicious homemade desserts and value added products are made daily in the market kitchen. The market offers the freshest and sweetest homegrown sweet corn and tomatoes starting in late June as well as a wide variety of other fruits and vegetables. Customers are also able to shop for unique and great tasting jams, jellies, and relishes as well as sugar free and all natural products. Local chef demonstrations and on farm dinners are offered throughout the season as well as other local community events. A u-pick pumpkin patch is offered at Emily's Produce during the fall harvest season with wagon rides and farm tours. During the fall season a huge selection of mums and fall harvest decorations can be found. School tours are offered in the spring and fall, which includes an educational experience on the farm. Kids are always welcome at Kyle's Fields of Fun - an activity area for the whole family. Emily's Produce also offers it loyal consumers the opportunity to participate in their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Program. The CSA opportunity at Emily's Produce is very exciting and diverse. In addition to providing the freshest fruits and vegetables from their own fields, and homemade value added products, Emily's Produce partners with other local producers supply meat, eggs, and dairy for the CSA packages.
