The Washington D.C. region's premier 12-months-of-harvest CSA, growing great foods since 1996. We are a highly diverse certified organic farm, growing over 120 varieties of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and bouquet flowers. For the safety of our CSA's foods and because we are so committed to great vegetable and fruit quality, we DO NOT buy produce from other farms, auction houses, or produce wholesalers and then re-pack such questionable stuff for our members. Three separate CSA membership options: a High Summer CSA (application deadline mid June); a 6-month (April - Nov.) Farmers' Market Option debit CSA (220 members) and a unique Winter CSA (120 families; Oct.-April). Delivered members can now also customize their vacation time to credit towards future subscriptions or specialty products. We also offer discounts to CSA members who buy at the Saturday Farmers' Market in Lexington Park, MD, and at the Saturday Farmers' Market in Chevy Chase, WDC (April-October). We specialize in heirloom vegetables and fruits of the finest flavors, and grow our foods slowly to maximize quality and to protect our farm's vibrant ecosystems.
