-The Glenview Farmer's Market will return to Wagner Farm on June 21, 2014. The market will operate every Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon until October 11.
-Wagner Farm parking lot, 1510 Wagner Road, Glenview, IL, 60025
-Parking generously provided by St. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church which is across the street from the farm.
-The market offers organic and/or sustainably-grown seasonal fruits and vegetables from local farms, including many hierloom varieties, fresh-cut flowers, perennials & shrubs, cheese, eggs from cage-free, hormone -free hens, jellies, preserves, sauces, fresh bread and other baked goods, lamb, beef, pork, and poultry, knife sharpening, and ready-made food to eat.
-SNAP (food assistance) cards can be used at the market, and half the purchase price will be paid for by grants from local organizations.
- The market holds weekly chef demonstrations to show patrons ways to use in-season produce.
- There is a "Green Table", where visiting experts in sustainable living share their knowledge with customers; everything from recycling to residential wind turbines.
