At Orchard Country, farming isn't our job, it's our passion and our life. We are more than proud of our wonderful customers, who make themselves more like family. We love what we do, and we know you'll love it too!
Orchard Country Produce is a family-owned and operated, sustainable fruit and vegetable farm in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. We work diligently to provide fresh produce (vegetables, fruit, berries, pork, eggs, cheese, chicken) to those interested in a healthier lifestyle.
Our variety is our customers' favorite aspect about our farm. Work on our farm includes raising pork, poultry, many fruits and vegetables, and berries. Along with the farmer's markets we attend, we also have a very strong CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program.
Meeting the numerous happy customers at the markets is one of our favorite things to do. In fact, many of them have become friends.
Our farming practices attest to nature being fine just the way it is, so we spray only to the minimum of necessity.
We raise all our own chickens for great tasting, healthful food and also large brown eggs.
We love giving farm tours and welcome folks to the farm for farm day events throughout the year and also for personal tours. So give us a call when you are in the area.
We have stands at the East Columbia Library in Columbia, Maryland, and Fairfax Community Market in Fairfax, VA.
We have farm stands are National Geographic Society in the Courtyard in Washington DC; St Luke's Episcopal Church on Fort Hunt Rd, Alexandria VA; and Belle View Condos, Alexandria, VA.
You can buy straight from the farm throughout the year.
