Groundworks Organic Farm

Groundworks Organic Farm CSA is a year-round, Certified Organic CSA. We grow certified organic vegetables on our small family farm and bring our members the very best sustainable produce, eggs, meat, chicken and cheese the area has to offer.

We offer Produce, Egg, Meat, Chicken, Cheese and Whole Farm Shares.

-Annapolis MD - Thursdays 3-6pm

-Alexandria VA - Wednesdays 3-6pm

-Arlington VA - Tuesdays 3-6pm

Organic Produce Farm Share

- $674 - At each CSA Pickup Shareholders are greeted with bins full of freshly-harvested organic produce. Shareholders get to choose from a few different Produce Share options. The Share averages 10-11 different types of freshly-harvested seasonal produce per distribution. We provide an incredible diversity of vegetables and fruits, which changes every time you pick up. The Share supplies a busy household of 3-5 people, or 1-2 avid veggie eaters.

Pasture-raised Egg Share

- $128 - 2 dozen local, pasture-raised eggs per pickup for 9 pickups. These 20141121_164213are the best eggs you can buy. Yolks are deep orange, and they hold together in the frying pan. They are simply delicious. We love everything about these eggs.

Pasture-raised Chicken Share

- $267 - Two of our Pasture-raised Chickens--dressed, whole and frozen--at each monthly pickup. Chickens are approximately 3-4 lbs each. Total of 10 Chickens.

Pastured and Grass Fed Meat Share

- Regular Size - $524. Small Size - $287. - Choose a Regular or Small Share . Regular Shares supply a household of 3-5, or 1-2 meat lovers. Small Shares are for more occasional meat eaters. Each month members choose free-choice from...

- Pork (Miller Family Farm) - Breakfast Sausage, Italian Sausage, Pork Chops, Roasts, Natural Bacon, and other tasty items.

- Beef (Miller Family Farm) - Ground Beef, Steaks, Roasts and other delicious items.

- Lamb (Miller Family Farm) - Chops, Roasts, Shanks, Sausage, and other scrumptious items.

- Wild-caught Seafood (Wild for Salmon) - Salmon, Whitefish, Scallops, and other delicious items.

Local Farmstead Cheese Share

- $124 - Cheese from Chapels Country Creamery, Firefly Farm, Chesapeake Bay Farms, Birchrun Hills Farmstead and others. Approximately 1 lb of amazing raw and pasteurized milk cheese per month-at least two different varieties per pickup. Our choice. The best cheese the area has to offer.

Whole Farm Share
