The King's Garden is in its 24th year of growing great organic food in the sunny and beautiful Okanogan county. We are located in the Methow valley in the very small town of Carlton. We specialize in Heirloom products including over 50 varieties of tomatoes, over 30 varieties of: summer and winter squashes, many varieties of hot and sweet peppers, melons, multiple varieties of beans, cukes, many colors of potatoes, peas, lettuces, cabbage, kales, broccoli, cauliflowers, Brussels sprouts, parsnips, carrots, and beets, ground cherries, tomatillos, corn, fresh herbs, berries, asparagus and oh so many varieties! We finally purchased our own piece of land last year and are planning to build our first high tunnel this year to extend our harvest. We raise chickens, ducks and goats for our egg and dairy needs. During the harvest season we grow and sell fresh organic seasonal produce from our farm location as well as Twisp Farmers Market, CSA's, food cooperatives and local and Seattle restaurants. Visitors are welcome during open hours, Mon-Sat 9-6 May through October. We have openings for interns (persons wanting to experience organic farming/living) to live, learn and work with us during the farming season.
