Prescott's Patch

Prescott's Patch is a five acre organic (not certified) CSA farm. We've been proudly serving Lancaster, York, Dauphin and Cumberland counties since 2001. Our farm is located near the village of Bainbridge along the Susquehanna River. When we started farming 15 years ago, our philosophy was to grow chemical-free, nutrient dense, and delicious food in the most environmentally friendly manner possible. This creed will remain unchanged. In lieu of organic certification (or one of the myriad of certifications now available), we long ago made the decision to let our passions for the natural world and growing good food with integrity be both our motivation and our guide. We grow strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and a long list of vegetables, including many heirloom varieties. We are first and foremost a CSA farm. However, we also sell at one or two farmers markets, and in most years operate a u-pick strawberry patch. We will include one or two interns as part of our farm in 2016. We work hard, laugh hard and get great satisfaction from growing food without the aid of chemicals. We hope our interns do the same.
