River Cottage Farm

We carry our own farm products as well as locally produced products from artisan farmers from Tennessee and Kentucky. All of the products available from our website are raised without chemicals and in a sustainable manner. All animal products are 100% grass fed and finished and dairy products are made with raw milk. All cheeses are aged a minimum of 60 days. We visit all of the farms and producers several times each season to ensure that their products live up to our strict standards. We subscribe wholly to the manifestos of Carlo Petrini and Slow Food and follow the practices set out by Dr. Weston A Price. We raise heritage breeds of cattle, sheep, chickens and turkeys. We look forward to helping you in any way we can as you transition your family away from industrialized "food" back to the honored systems of eating locally , sustaining your local farmers and your community. We are here to provide you with the information and education you need as well as food that is good, clean and fair.
