The Ypsilanti Farmers Market - Downtown (16 S Washington) is run by Growing Hope and aims to increase access to fresh and healthy food while supporting our local economy and developing our community. The market is held outdoors from May - October. We have around 40 vendors, selling a large variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, breads and baked goods, cheese, meat, plants and seedlings, soaps, laundry detergent, and other homemade crafts and jewelry. We ask of our vendors that all the products they sell be grown or made in Michigan. From November - December 20th the Ypsilanti Farmers Market - Downtown will be held inside the Ypsilanti Farmers MarketPlace, a building currently under renovation by Growing Hope. The building is located at the back of the lot at 16 S Washington Street through the double green doors. The Ypsilanti Farmers Market Winter Market will feature a large variety of vendors, including some familiar faces from the current market season. Shoppers can expect to find winter crops, baked goods, meat, eggs, honey and syrup, spices and oils, cheese, soaps and lotions, handmade goods, wild Alaskan salmon, and much, much more! The market will also offer prepared foods, including food from Beezy's Cafe.
