The Barre Farmers Market is dedicated to supporting and promoting the sustainability of locally grown and produced fruits, vegetables, meats, eggs, cut flowers, plants, preserved foods, fresh baked, prepared foods and artisan crafts! To offer growers and producers of Central Vermont agricultural commodities and other farm-related products alternative marketing opportunities. To improve the variety, freshness, taste and nutritional value of produce available and to promote the sale of locally-grown farm products. Our venue offers Central Vermont shoppers an educational forum for consumers to learn the uses and benefits of quality, locally grown or prepared food products. We also accept 3Square EBT cards, debit cards and Farm to Family coupons which provides accessibility for healthy, regionally produced foods to lower-income residents Barres vibrant Farmers Markets contributes to the success of local food growers and producers, strengthen our food economy and serves our community by providing an activity which fosters social gathering and interaction. Wednesdays, 3:00 - 7:00 pm. AND Saturdays, 9:00 AM-1:00 pm through October 17th, 2015
