The Lenoir Downtown Farmers Market provides Caldwell County with the best locally grown and produced products. We have a different approach from other markets. The Lenoir Downtown Farmers Market Mission statement and beliefs are: Buy Local, Buy Fresh, Buy Quality. Many of our farmers are Appalachian Grown certified through ASAP (Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project). Lenoir Downtown Farmers Market is a member of Foothills Fresh; a division of the North Carolina Cooperative Extension Office, North Carolina Farm Fresh, Local Harvest, Its Gotta Be NC, Caldwell County Chamber of Commerce and Carolina Farm Stewardship Association.
We are a producer-only market. Our vendors must be the producer of items being sold or made locally. We offer locally grown produce, meats, fresh cut flowers, canned goods, bakery and a variety of crafts, soaps, jewelry, crochet items, wood crafts and candles.
Hours are on Saturday's May to October 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

We offer education for the upcoming young farmers, Visits from Seniors Citizens Homes and Schools to Farmers Market, Farm Tours, We have our local chefs cooking a variety of the products when they come in. Community Booth, We are we are very active and involved with the events that go on in our Beautiful Downtown Lenoir. We also accept WIC, and soon we will be accepting Snap/EBT, and Debit Cards. We are a Non-Profit Organization.
