The New Albany Farmers Market is the place to be on delightful summer days in a vibrant setting that showcases the makings of farm to table dining. Enjoy seasonal fruits and vegetables, an inviting array of produce, fresh baked goods, savory pastries, locally made cheese, honey, coffee and beautifully hand-crafted artisan products, educational offerings, cooking demonstrations and a variety of entertainment. 60+ Merchants, food trucks-Most merchants are certified Organic or All Natural. When you sit down to eat, do you know where your food comes from? Do you know how far it traveled? Do you know what food is currently in season in Central Ohio? Visit the New Albany Farmers Market and you will! We are literally 'Bringing the Farm to Market Square' so that you and your family can shake the hand of (and get to know!) the people who feed our community! The primary goal of our all volunteer run, 'producer focused' Farmers Market is to provide a venue that encourages the awareness and use of locally grown and produced goods that promote community health. This weekly community event is a chance to mingle with your neighbors and strengthen our community ties. Come and enjoy free live music, market tours, enjoy the sights and sounds of the lively farmers market while you let your taste buds take a mid week vacation by sampling the in-season local foods. Support local small businesses and strengthen our local economy by voting with your food dollars. Products available at the weekly 2015 Summer Market include: breads, pastries, sweet treats, including traditional and gluten free bakeries. All natural, organic and conventionally raised, farm fresh fruits and vegetables (when in season). Award winning goat cheese, teas, jellies & jams, rubs, herbal vinegars, salsas, local honey and maple syrup will compliment pork, chicken, beef, lamb, and farm fresh eggs. Fresh flowers and homemade specialty fudge & sweets will be the perfect finish to your farmers market bag. Be the Change you want to see in our community! Be Fresh. Be Local. Be Here!
