The Sheboygan tomato has been grown since the early part of the 20th century in Sheboygan, Wisconsin by Lithuanian immigrants. It is a 4-6 oz. paste fruit that is good fresh or for canning. The Sheboygan's strong flavor is similar to other heirloom varieties rather than paste tomatoes. It has a nice complex flavor and great balance of sweetness and acidit

Athens Locally Grown is a small group of growers located around Athens, Georgia. Each grower farms his/her land using strict standards to ensure that everything produced is chemical-free. All member farms are dedicated to supplying their customers with the freshest and highest quality vegetables, herbs, mill products, eggs, fruits, flowers, and transplants.

Our farm has been in the same family since the early 1800. It is currently farmed by two generations, Jim and Kate Smith and their daughter, Maggie Smith. For direct retail sales we raise angus cross breed cattle, pastured laying hens and heirloom vegetables.

Sustainable farming and responsible living are a way of life at Blackbird Heritage farm. We only grow vegetabes from which we can save seeds. This means no hybrid or genetically modified seeds. Our 16 acre farm is divided into three plots which have been put into a three year rotation; animal pasture on year one to vegetable production on year two to beneficial grasses on year three, then back to animal pasture.
