"R" Farm is the home of "R" Pizza Farm and "R" Farm Pizzeria. We are an interactive educational farm. We are "certifiable organic" but chose not to certify. We practice the old organic way. NO!!! synthetic chemicals are allowed on the farm. We pasture all our animals. Our beef is never fed any grain. We raise chicken, eggs, beef, pork, turkeys and vegetables along with some small fruits. We give tours from April 1-October 31 each year. We also teach classes in soap making, gardening, raised bed soilless gardening, lactofermentation of food, jelly making, canning, baking and bread making in a brick oven.

The Pizza Farm is in the shape of a pizza. Each slice is a different ingredient that it takes to make a pizza. Tours include two slices of pizza and a drink of your choice. We have an intern program each year and welcome people to contact the farm to participate. We also teach timber framing classes when we have enough people to fill a class. We do farmer's markets as well as urban buying clubs. We also have two CSAs: one produce and one meat. In October we run "R" Acres of Terror -- a haunted farm.

I began purchasing products from "R" Farm at the Ferguson Farmer's Market this year. I have purchased beans, veggies, fruit and soaps. Their food is wonderful, and the quality of all thier products is exemplary.... [more]

We also wanted a heritage turkey for Thanksgiving this year but chose to pick it up ourselves. Since we waited until practically the last minute, we were not able to reserve a large heritage turkey.... [more]
