HOME GROWN & HAND MADE in Ashe County~ The Ashe County Farmer's Market is one of a very few Markets in the Country where everything has to be grown or crafted by the vendors and all in Ashe County. Local food and artisan quality local crafts are our focus.

LOCAL FOOD, PLANTS & FLOWERS-Select from farm fresh eggs, produce, fruit, fresh baked breads and pastries, jams and relishs, pies and cakes, culinary vinegars and locally raised lamb/poultry/goat/beef and pork. Talk to the farmers that grow YOUR food. Local nursies grow annual vegetable, flower and bedding plants, trees and shrubs. Cut flower and herbs can be found in large fragrant bouquets.

ARTISAN CRAFTS- The Ashe Market is home to a variety of very talented artists. From potters to wood carvers, blacksmiths to fine artists, fiber artists to candlemakers. You will find soap handcrafted from lye the old fashioned way. Hand made bird houses and feeders, functional and decorative pottery, floral arrangements and so much more!

The Opening Day of the 2012 Market will be Saturday, April 14, 2012. The Saturday Market will run from April thru October and the Wednesday Market will run from July thru September. Both Markets will operate from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. The Holiday Market will be Saturday, Nov. 17, Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturdays, Nov. 24 & Dec. 1, 2012 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm each day.

Saturdays, 8am-1pm from April thru October
Wednesdays (starting in July), 8am-1pm thru September
Holiday Market - Saturday, Nov. 17, Friday, Nov. 23, Saturdays, Nov. 24 & Dec. 1, 2012 from 10:00am - 2:00pm
