The Silver Spring FRESHFARM Market is a producer-only farmers market! Only regional growers from the Chesapeake Bay watershed region (DE, MD, PA, VA and WV) may sell at market. Brokers or resale vendors are not permitted to sell. At this market you will find the freshest, seasonal foods from our regional farmers including fruits, vegetables, organic meats, handmade cheeses, breads, plants, flowers and more! We are open year round, rain or shine.
EBT/Food Stamps can be redeemed at the information table for fresh and healthy foods. All EBT customers and WIC/Senior coupon customers will receive Matching Dollar tokens up to $20.

I love this market and shop there every weekend. The atmosphere is so up beat and the farmers are friendly and knowledgeable. The fruits are vegetables are the best and check out the chocolate squares at the lavender stand - out of this world!
The food is always fresh and the vendors so knowledgeable and friendly. Only problem - I want them there all year. My diet is so much healthier when I can go to the market on Saturdays to get fruits, vegetables, poultry, etc.
Great vegetables, wonderful meat, and FABULOUS people. The fresh flowers don't hurt either.
Products and Crops
Market includes "Chef at Market" cooking demonstrations as well as flower arranging, food tastings, food preservation demonstrations and activities for kids. Educational materials are available every Saturday at the Market Information Table.
"Chef at Market" demonstrations occur throughout the season.
