The Ripley Farmer's Market is where friends meet friends for a morning coffee and pastry, where shoppers buy fresh picked vegetables in season from gardeners and farmers they know, and where a cross section of community groups gather to raise funds for village causes like the library book sale. Each summer Saturday, the market celebrates a seasonal vegetable events like "Salad Days" or "Salsa Fest" and the vendors offer samples and recipes.
Special events in 2009 will include a special pre-Mother's Day Gift Sale with vendors with the feminine touch, then on May 2nd there will be a sidewalk demonstration on "How To Make New Paper from Used Paper" as the market partners with Adams Brown County Recycling Center.
The Market Store is open Fridays 10-6 pm and Saturdays 9-2pm only.
