Founded in 2002, Seattle's Lake City Farmers Market features over 25 Washington State farmers and small food vendors selling local, seasonal fruits and vegetables, eggs, honey, ciders, cheeses, meats, shellfish, baked goods, cut flowers and nursery stock. I just love hanging out there on a sunny day, the produce is wonderful, there is usually street musicians and informational booths where you get recipes and community information and people of all ages are there from the elderly to the tiniest baby.
