Held weekly April through September from 6-9pm, rain or shine, the market is a street festival and certified farmers' market. Located on Broadway from 2nd to 5th Streets, the area is closed to vehicle traffic to allow for the festivities. Due to health code specifications, no animals are permitted at the market. Browse Downtown Chico's wide variety of unique shops with extended hours on Thursday nights...or dine at one of Downtown's wonderful restaurants or quaint cafes. Streets are lined with nearly 100 popular vendors. Unique crafts and artwork, handmade clothing and jewelry, mouth-watering foods, personal services and community organizations are just some of what you'll find. Plus, certified farmers offer the season's freshest assortments of fruits & vegetables, bouquets of garden-grown flowers, eggs, nuts & honey, houseplants and more. The whole family will enjoy an evening at the market - with balloon-twisting artists, spraypainters, giant inflatable slides and special children's activities the market tailors to all ages! A diverse selection of local musicians and entertainers showcase their talents each week. Performances range from magicians to African dancers and from classic jazz to bluegrass.
