Eastie Farm

Eastie Farm is a community-based non-profit organization that pursues climate justice, food security, and community resilience through urban agriculture, education, and the building of an equitable local food system. We are located in East Boston and our flagship site has a geothermal greenhouse, mushroom farm, and hydroponic farm (located at 6 Chelsea Terrace in East Boston, MA). We have 2 other garden sites around East Boston.

We offer a 25-week CSA from late May until mid-November, consisting of 10-20 pounds of local produce. We support over 50 local farms and vendors. We support small and medium sized farms who practice sustainable growing methods. We offer a tiered pricing system for our CSA in alignment with our food equity mission.

Our CSA is unique because:

-We offer bi-weekly (with or without eggs) and weekly shares

-We have pickup locations in multiple municipalities in the Greater Boston area (East Boston, Revere, Winthrop, Chelsea, Cambridge)

-We incorporate free and affordable shares into our market-based program, making the CSA more accessible

-All CSA materials are offered in English and Spanish

-We provide a swap box at each distribution where an item can be exchanged for another
