Henniker Community Market

The Henniker Community Market was born from a personal desire to have access to fresh and wholesome food, grown and prepared locally. Not only do I want this access for myself and for my family, but I want the fellow members of my community to have access as well. In order to ensure this access, it is essential to support the local farmers and producers who make this food possible. The intentions of the market are to support local agriculture and strengthen local economy by providing a direct market for farmers, growers, food producers, and craftspeople to sell their products; provide the community access to locally grown food and high quality homemade products; and to deepen the sense of community in the town of Henniker. The Henniker Community Market is an open and inviting space where members of the community can come together. It is a place where old friends and neighbors will reunite, and where new friendships will be made. It is an opportunity to meet your local farmers and learn the ways in which food is grown in our area. It is a social gathering, where we are given the chance to slow down, enjoy the music and the outdoors, let our children play, and rejoice the warm summer evenings.
