2015 Shares are now available! We want to be your farmer! Sweet Beet Farm supplies quality naturally grown produce, eggs, and lamb to the area families and independently owned restaurants. We use exclusively organic methods and are scheduled for USDA organic certification in 2014. We rotate your vegetables crops with cover crops which add nutrients to keep the soil healthy and strong. Our farming methods respect the diversity of our land, water, and wildlife so that the next generation of farmers will, too, enjoy this healthy, thriving land. Beginning in June our CSA member receive a bounty of fresh produce each week into the fall for a total of 18 weeks, along with farm newsletters and recipes. We grow a rainbow of fruits and vegetables, including heirloom and rare varieties, as well as old favorites. We also offer fall shares into the late fall/early winter months. Besides farming, we both have backgrounds in education, a gift we share with our CSA. We also encourage farm visits for hands-on learning! Sweet Beet Farm is primarily a vegetable farm but we do tend beehives and raise chickens as a healthy distraction. Nick and Amelia
