Certified Farmers' Market Palm Desert

The open-air Certified Farmers Market at Palm Desert is set to open on Wednesday September 29th 2010 , morning from 8 am to 12:30 pm! This starts our 2010-2011 season

We bring local farmers and vendors together to showcase the fruits of their labor for you.

A Certified Farmers Market is approved and certified by the California Department of Food and Agriculture. The farmers and vendors are regionally-based -- most within 100 miles of the Coachella Valley -- so the food is incredibly fresh. We offer fresh vegetables and fruit (organic, transitional, and no-spray), herbs, lavender, cheese, bread, honey, nuts, cage-free eggs, olives and olive oil, cut flowers, orchids and plants.

The CFM is a gathering place where the community can socialize and learn about nutrition, fresh produce and sustainable practices. Each weekend our Market Chef booth features recipes and new cooking techniques from local guest chefs. Our markets are weekly community events sponsored by the Palm Springs Cultural Center, a non-profit organization established to advance both access to and enjoyment of a broad range of cultural arts in the Coachella Valley.
