As one of the oldest farmers' markets in Kansas, the Downtown Farmers' Market of Manhattan has a rich history of providing products grown or produced right here locally. Established in 1979, the market continues to provide the citizens of Manhattan and the surrounding area with fresh fruits and vegetables, meats, baked goods, honey, flowers, crafts, and much, much more!

The Saturday morning market typically averages between 30-35 vendors with as many as 40 or so during the height of the season. Wednesday evening markets average 10-15 vendors with as many as 20 or so during the busiest weeks.

You're sure to find whatever you're looking for at the market! With a wide variety of products, monthly special events, cooking demonstrations, raffles and other contests, live music, and a sitting area it's a great "social destination" where you can shop, say "hello" to old friends and meet new friends, too.
