The oldest farmers' market in Kansas, running since 1976, the Downtown Lawrence Farmers' Market meets from the second Saturday in April through the second Saturday in November. We also have a Tuesday Evening Market that is much smaller but is gaining fun traction with regular events and runs from May through October.

LFM is a "producer-only" market; everything sold is grown, prepared or crafted by its members.
With more than 75 growers, producers, bakers and fine craftspeople, the Lawrence Farmers' Market is the place to go for the freshest and finest quality produce, meat, and artisan crafts.
Live music, a kids' scavenger hunt, community organizations, and more at every market!

Our market has amazing variety of produce, nagtural meats, baked goods, household items, is organized well and laid out beautifully and is the highlight of my week during summertime!
Not only is there a great selection of produce, flowers and plants, baked good and yummy prepared food, but there is music, educational tables and a place to sit with friends and enjoy the markets and visit with friends. There is a real sense of community.

Directions:

Saturday Market: We are in the parking lot on the East side of New Hampshire St in between the 800 and 808 Loft Apartments. Free 2 Hour parking can be found right across the street in a city lot; There is plenty of free neighborhood parking on Rhode Island, 8th and 9th Streets. There is paid parking nearby on New Hampshire, 8th, and 9th Streets, as well as on nearby streets. There is also free parking in the two city parking garages at 6th and New Hampshire or across from the Lawrence Arts Center, one block away from the market.
