Green Plate Catering is a family run partnership between Kit Wood and son, Ryan Devine with over 35 years of catering experience in the Washington D.C. area. We focus on sustainable practices and eco-friendly products to provide our clients with guilt-free, seasonal dining experiences made from scratch at our kitchen in Wheaton, Maryland. We pride ourselves in providing menus for everyone, including vegans, vegetarians, and those with dietary restrictions and allergies.

Green Plate Catering partners with local farmers and Tuscarora Organic Co-op to bring the freshest harvest of organic fruits and vegetables to our customers. We source Certified Organic and Naturally Raised meats, MSC Certified sustainable seafood, and craft our own all-natural organic baked goods.

Green Plate's bio-waste is committed to a local composting program. We recycle or compost over 87% of our total waste by weight. Our emphasis on non-disposable, compostable and recyclable dishware carries through to the preparation and packaging of every recipe produced in our kitchen. We are Green America Gold Certified and Montgomery County Green Restaurant Certified.
