We are a small family farm located on Randleman Lake, growing only heirloom fruits and vegetables and raising only heritage breeds of beef, pork, and fowl. Although we are not yet certified organic, we use organic methods, never using chemical pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizer or non-GMO seeds. We are members of the Slow Food Movement and strive to raise as many animals and produce from the Ark of Taste as we can. Our goal this year is to add a small processing kitchen so we can be responsible for each animal's life from birth to your table. We will be getting our meat handlers license about the middle of May, 2015 and will be offering Jersey beef for sale. Our Jerseys boys were bottle fed by us for four months and have been on pasture/hay since then with additional minerals and nutrients provided for them. Jersey meat is excellent because of the high butter fat content in the beef. We will be offering heritage poultry sometime in the next few months and heritage American Guinea Hog pork starting June of 2016.
