The goals for the Ruston Farmers' Market are:
Provide high quality, fresh local produce on a weekly basis and provide support for area farmers, gardeners, and producers of local agricultural value-added products.
Create a vibrant gathering place in downtown Ruston for the community and tourists to enjoy and create an additional traffic stream for local businesses.
Educate the community about the importance of eating fresh, healthy food, and supporting local agriculture.
