Schenectady Greenmarket

Each Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. vendors, shoppers, musicians and friends gather at Schenectady Greenmarket and enjoy our festive marketplace. The outdoor market is located around City Hall from May through October, with more than seventy-five vendors who produce everything they sell. Enjoy live music, prepared food and the region's freshest local produce. November-April inside Proctors.

The Greenmarket is wonderful. I have cut my grocery store shopping down by at least 50%. I was surprised at the local produce (though limited) I could buy over the winter. Now that spring has arrived, there are an abundance of options. It is also a fantastic venue for local small businesses.

What a great place to shop on Sundays -- year round. The vendors have a wide variety of products available and are very friendly. The music adds to the atmosphere. A great community market.
