The surprise of having children with food allergies prompted us to explore organic food production in 2009. We both grew up on farms with extensive gardens, so returning to farming was a no-brainer. What a positive difference it has made in our family, and the families of our members.
We sell a full range of vegetables and several fruits through our CSA program and farmers market, along with gluten free and keto baked goods and meals made from local ingredients. We maintained our organic certification for 10 years, but currently have the farm on a sabatical! We saw the need in our area for a local foods market- so many farmers work so hard both on and off the farm, and struggle to do it all. We have joined forces with about 25 local farms, offering their fresh produce, eggs, and meats to our community through our store front, Flavor Market.

Flavor Market is open year round. We are open 7 days a week in the summer, and scale back a bit in the winter. 1461 NW US Hwy 50, Holden Mo 64040. 1.5 miles east of Powell Gardens on 50 hwy. Look for the electronic sign, and possibly a whole gaggle of whirly gig spinners!

We wholesale any of our products, as there is interest, mainly selling to restaurants, local markets, and small grocery stores. Our most often sought after items are farm fresh, nongmo & free-range chicken eggs, jams, canning tomatoes, gluten free breads and gluten free pizza crusts.

We love growing heirlooms, especially tomatoes. We extend our growing season with the use of high tunnels and row covers, so we have produce available 12 months of the year. Winter produce includes storage veggies, canned goods, fresh greens, eggs, beef, pork, and chicken, and root crops.
Our natural grown flower bouquets have been used for weddings, parties, and banquets.
