The Jack Newe's Farmer's Market is a California Certified Farmer's Market. The market is every Saturday, year around, from 8 AM to 1 PM. Our market includes freshly picked, local produce that is grown in California. In addition to the wide variety of American and Asian produce, our farmers offer fresh cut flowers, beautiful orchids, bonsai trees, bamboo, fresh eggs and poultry, fresh herbs, and nursery plants. Our non certified section offers packaged nuts, dried fruit, granola and more. Our non certified section also includes a vendor that sells delicious, hand made cobblers that are prepared the night before. Our food court is a very popular area of our market. The gourmet tamale stand offers seven varities of fresh and frozen tamales. The sweet aroma that you smell as you enter the food court is a mixture of freshly roasted peanuts, and kettle korn. For amazing food and a great price, there is Carbon Grill serving a delicious variety of chicken quesadillas, burritos and fajitas. Last but not least, there is a crafters section that showcases the talents of local residents. All items in the crafter's section are made by the vendor themselves and include clothing, jewelry, scarves, sweaters, and wood crafts.
Specialties: stunning orchids, colorful cut flowers, roses, safari grass, plumerias, flowering bushes, and humus, feta cheese, seasoned Klamata olive oils.
