The Glory Farm is being developed into an Agricultural Sustainable Living Educational Center. It is committed to community service and we believe in stewardship over ownership. We are taking a run-down ranch and restructuring it through Permaculture Design Methods. Our intention is to be bio-dynamic and organic certified and to have all our buildings and structures Lead Green Certified. Our goal is to open our gates free to our community providing a safe, fun, and educational place for day activities. We are also planning to be an agri-hood opening the farm up to neighboring housing developments. On our farm we are committed to heritage breeds, ancient grains and encourage internships and WOOFERS to come and work with us as we all learn and enjoy life together. We specialize in natural homesteading skills like spinning, candle making, basketry, pottery, weaving, knitting & crochet and much more. We have lots of animals on our farm and their health & happiness is just as important to us as our own: rabbits (both meat and angora), sheep, goats, alpacas, horses, dogs, cats and hope to soon have some Brown Swiss Cows. We are not vegetarians although we believe meat consumption should be kept at a minimum for the health of ourselves and our planet. All of our food production is organic however, if an animal needs a medicine to get over an illness that is not organic we will use it to save the animals life, but then that animal is not sold as organic. We are also survivalist enthusiasts and love aboriginal cultures and learning their skills. Therefore, we make and teach arrowhead making, bow making, natural structure assembly and many other natural tools. We love the water and learning ourselves now how to make birch bark canoes. Be Blessed...from all of us on The Glory Farm.
