Established in 1913, Prudom Farms is a family run operation now spanning 6 generations. We work in co-operation with other local farmers to provide a large variety of local, natural grown produce. Our goal is to build the local economy, raise awareness of organic v. natural products, and most importantly raise support and appreciation for local farming no matter where the farm is.
We currently grow all types of vegetables, berries and livestock on 150 acres of land, as well as lease fruit orchards each year. The farm is currently open 9 am to dusk from May to November (or hard frost). We start in the spring with Asparagus, Strawberries and Rhubarb and finish in fall with Apples, Pumpkins, winter squash and potatoes. We have dried herbs and fruit available all year round. We grow everything in between and offer a wide variety to our customers at a reasonable price. We grow mostly heirloom seed and most of the fruit trees have been around for generations.
We except cash, credit, debit, WIC, and farm market coupons. We are proud to be certified to accept State of New York "Frozen, Fresh or Canned Fruit and Vegetables" WIC coupons from our customers and USDA certification to accept SNAP (Food Stamp) Benefits.
