Corvallis-Albany Farmers' Markets are known for their wide selection of local Willamette Valley organic and conventionally grown fruits and vegetables, cut flowers and herbs. Homemade baked goods, jams and jellies, syrups, honey, cheese, eggs, nuts, meats and seafoods broaden the offerings and help extend the market season. As our mid-April to late November season progresses, the colorscape of the markets evolves from a sea of many greens, punctuated by a flashes of red and white, to the full palette of fall colors. Music and special events add to the community atmosphere. These extras and surprises include hands-on children's activities, cooking demonstration and tastings. Corvallis Saturday, the youngest of our three farmers' markets, takes place on city streets adjacent to Riverfront Commemorative Park, near several restaurants and other food-related businesses.
