La Montanita is a community owned network of full service cooperative grocery stores, with locations in Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Gallup. We carry over 1100 local products grown or created by over 400 local producers.
Our Regional Food-Shed Project and resulting Coop Distribution Center seeks to expand wholesale sales and retail markets for area farmers by picking up products from producers in our 300 mile food-shed region and distributing them to a variety of retail outlets, including our grocery stores. The distribution system also completes the circle by delivering to participating producers, cooperatively purchased feed, packing materials and other producer needs.
